Intermission Film is an award-winning, full-service creative agency in London, New York, Amsterdam and Melbourne. We partner with leading distributors, streamers and broadcasters to create trailers, promos, key art, creative content and socials for films and series that audiences love. Recent work includes House of the Dragon, Rental Family, Avatar Fire and Ash, Thunderbolts*, Slow Horses and Steve.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a senior Production leader to run Intermission Film’s US Production function. Operating within Intermission’s global Production model, this role is responsible for people leadership, delivery quality and operational consistency across the US market, and plays an active role within the global Production leadership group, contributing to shared standards, ways of working and continuous improvement across regions.
This role is central to stabilising delivery, developing the US team and creating a sustainable platform for growth.
What You'll Do
Lead the US Production team, providing clear direction, accountability and support.
Collaborate alongside global Production leadership for scheduling, resourcing and prioritisation, and own this across a US timezone.
Ensure clear scoping, global handovers and alignment between client expectations and delivery.
Act as a senior producer on key projects, helping shape creative approach and ensuring alight expectations and smooth delivery.
Ensure work is delivered on time, on scope and to a consistently high standard.
Act as the senior escalation point for delivery, resourcing and client delivery issues.
Build a stable and sustainable team environment, addressing performance issues early and clearly.
Operate within global Production standards, tools and ways of working set by the Group Production Director.
Work with Finance and Operations to support margin discipline and delivery visibility.
Contribute to continuous improvement of production workflows and processes.
What You'll Bring
Significant senior Production leadership experience in a creative agency or production environment within the film and entertainment industry.
Strong people management skills and experience leading teams through growth or change.
Excellent operational judgement around scheduling, resourcing and prioritisation.
Confident handling of retained client relationships from a delivery perspective.
Calm, pragmatic leadership style with a strong focus on quality and accountability.
Comfortable operating within a global functional structure.

Please Note
We mainly work from the office full-time, but this role will be eligible for one day of working from home per week once the individual is settled in.
